I believe in Rainbows

My instagram has been really busy this month with the Daily Marker 30 Day Coloring Challenge. I've been having tons of fun, but really haven't made many projects, just practicing my coloring. But last night I finally got around to making a page from a photo that's been waiting on me. I started out by gathering up some Shimelle items I've had hoarded (and I've recently picked up some new stuff recently). I knew before getting started that I wanted to use that rainbow heart paper, it's vellum and so lovely! I tried it out on several other background papers and while I loved it on lots of things, it needed something to keep those hearts from drowning on another pattern and white cardstock just was not cutting it. So I found this awesome specialty paper covered in gold hearts along the bottom. The Keller paper is that awesome paper with bright hearts in pink on pink from the original collection, but on the back there is a section that is a soft gray so that is what I used to emphasize the heart vellum. I love how it looks, especially because where it isn't backing you can see the smaller heart print on my background paper behind it. I matted the photo with the paper called Frappe from the True Stories collection, the reverse side of this lovely navy print has cameras on it. I combined stickers from both collections and used some of the cut apart sheet from True Stories called Latte for page accents. I puzzled for a bit over what to put my journalling on, then I just took some white cardstock and cut out a half a heart shape and used Fossilized Amber Distress ink to make it a lovely yellowy color, I used water to distress the ink a bit, then journalled on my block. Those lovely red glitter Thickers in the Fitzgerald Font combined with tile letters from the Shimelle Collection stickers make my title. I really love how this turned out.

I'm editing a video on pulling this layout together so stay tuned to my youtube channel :)!
